I’m Going to China

China Don’t worry mom, I didn’t say “moving”, rather going in May with Val’s mom on a 2 week tour/trip! I just bought my tickets.

You probably remember my rants and such about how I feel when it comes to photography and how I need to step it up, well, heres one of those steps I’m ready to jump on. I leave May 5th for Beijing, then for two weeks will meander through the country and head back from Shanghai. I’m really excited, and damn ready for the challenge, not to mention some interesting culture shock and probably the best Sushi I’ve ever had.

Anthony I know you want to kill me, but Val’s mom said she’ll keep an eye out for a girlfriend for you too.

Sounds like a blast! I spent a couple weeks in Japan about 5 years ago, it was amazing. Afterwards I went to Hong Kong for business which was also really cool. Have a great time!

awesome man, thanks, I’m really looking forward to it. now of course I have to debate over which lenses i must take and what I still need to buy before I get there. I think if I can manage afford the 14mm + a storage center for the photos I’ll be good. Sucks when the lens is more then the trip! *chuckle*
