Apple Gets Social
A nice new feature Apple released last week is My iTunes, a set of widgets that could get them started on the social market in style.
Use My iTunes to share your top reviews, favorite artists, and new music, movies, and TV shows from the iTunes Store with anyone who visits your site.
There are currently three embeddable widgets to choose from. One shows recent iTunes purchases. Another shows music you’ve reviewed on iTunes. The last shows a sort of tag cloud of artists you’ve purchased on the iTunes store. The widgets can be customized by size and color.
The first and last widgets only work if you’ve actually bought stuff on iTunes. I’ve bought enough things to create a thinly populated widget below. But what would be far more interesting is a widget that, like iLike, shows your favorite music and plays at least a 30 second snippet of each song.

iWood
This is pretty sweet. A hand crafted wooden case (with the option of having an engraving), choice of wood and all for your iPhone. Not too bad for $80 right? I do however love the invisishield that i got installed on the phone at the Mission Viejo mall. It’s great since it adds a bit of extra traction to the sides and back so it’s not as slippery, and the screen is much easier to clean and keep looking good.
Mah House

Ahh yes, it’s monday.
Back From Mammoth

Last weekend I went with Jeanin up to Mammoth for Bluesapalooza (aka boozeapalooza) for a beer tasting under the mighty pine trees. We had a great time, I’ll post a few more pics soon. Busy morning.
Shakey-face

I’ve honestly just been too tired to post recently. No excuses. That’s about it. I am however working on a new concept website, once i get the model figured out i’ll prob setup a little private beta here. Going to take me a few but I’m really excited about the idea. It’ll also be my pilot project on CodeIgniter which has been my new best friend for the past couple months.
I’ll finally have a reason to learn all the new goodies in PHP5. *wink*
