A New Week Brings Rain
Who was it that said it never rains in Southern California? Don’t know about never, but once in a while we get a solid half inch or so. It was a nice treat to wake up to rain this morning, we haven’t had any in quite a long while. Far from 30 Day’s of Rain, but it’s a start even though ForecastFox tells me tomorrow will be partly sunny.
Over the last month I’ve sort of been in a creative rut but I’m ready to pick back up now and hopefully be a bit more confident once the holidays pass. Mom and dad are buying me a new Point & Shoot camera for Christmas which I get to pick-out and grab myself. I know, I know, but my excuse was that I wanted to use it for Christmas.. slick huh?
I had intentions of posting a lot more then the last five or six, but going through my lists and bookmarks helped me realize it’s not always about being so sold on one persons style and how it affects you all at once, but more of taking the time out of your day to find what inspires you in full. Like browsing 10 or 20 new portfolio sites over a few days and letting your day-to-day experiences affect your perception. For example, I was sick at home over the past holiday weekend, no fun. But it gave me a chance to enjoy some HDTV. So I caught up on a lot I missed and watched the entire fourth season of Family Guy which was a joy. When I was flippin around I thought I’d watch the MTV Europe VMA’s. Dude, what an amazing production. If you havn’t seen that in HD you’re missing out. But they did this awesome neon-light R/G/B cut sequence in-between acts that got me thinking about another way of presenting my work. Instantly I jumped online and registered two new domains while the idea was fresh. colorseperation.com and seperatingcolor.com. Don’t laugh at me, that’s just how I work.
In anycase, I’m looking to add a few more things to this site, just need to find some time to code and test it out. Keep checking back or grab the feed if you prefer RSS.. have a great holiday season.

Rain makes you get the best work done…why is it sunny and 60 in IL?!
unless you have to think of what to do for 30 days in a row.. right? hehe.
