Remembering Katrina


Hurricane KatrinaOne year ago today, Hurricane Katrina showed us the power of mother nature.

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a year since the beast touched down on the gulf coast. Seems like just yesterday I remember the anticipation, the sorrow and the non-stop coverage of the hysteria our poor country had to endure.

I’m not much of a journalist, seems like whatever I type wouldn’t be of much consolation anyhow. Hell, with as many typo’s as I write on a day-to-day basis, I’d probably screw something up attempting to be sincere.

Here’s to the many that lost their lives, the many more that lost their loved ones and a prayer that we never have to witness something like this again.
