Oceans 13 - Get Ready
Aww yea, 2007 is going to be a good year, that is for Oceans 13’s release!
I found myself spitting a “5pm, day-of” line in general conversation today and decided it was in my best interest to watch a lil Oceans 12 when I got home today after a haircut. After the movie I was watching the credits and saw Steven Soderbergh produced it, and was the Director of Photography. So after hitting up the IMDB to check him out (my normal routine these days after a movie), I saw Oceans 13 in pre porduction! Can’t ‘effin wait man! Now the talk of who the 13th will be.
I do have to say, I love this movie for more then just the gambling/thievery/international tip, it’s just so well scripted and the Photography Direction is so on-point. Love the high contrast in the shots, the BW vs color choices. But they film in Paris, Rome & Lake Como, so c’mon, it has to be awesome.
In any case here’s to 07.

Del.icio.us Imports
del.icio.us: do you have anything to declare?
This is what I like to hear. I have to say, I’ve been a del.icio.us addict more and more recently. So easy to use and the whole “cross-browser” ease of it makes life so damn simple.
We’ve just rolled out our import tool. You can now import your existing bookmarks from Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera, or anything that supports the traditional Netscape bookmark file format. If you like, we can even give you a bit of a jump-start by automatically applying the most popular tags. To try it out, click on “settings”, then “import”.
For most users the import is pretty quick. If you have a large number of browser bookmarks it might take some time to process; once it starts, you can leave the import page and come back later to check the status.
We took our time on this one because we wanted to make sure that your privacy was protected. After all, your browser bookmarks and favorites have been private up till now, and nobody wants to see all those Brangelina articles you saved, anyway. So when you import your bookmarks into del.icio.us we will mark everything as “not shared”. You are free to share them at any time – in fact, we encourage you to do so. Sharing is really what this site is about, after all.

Jill Carroll is Free
And what a great turn for such a bad situation she’s been in for so long. 82 days held in captivity. Man I can’t even imagine.
March 31, 2006 — When Jill Carroll was unexpectedly released Thursday after 82 days in captivity in Iraq, the first phone call she made was to her twin sister, Katie Carroll, to say,
“I’m free.”
Then both sisters burst into tears, according to The Christian Science Monitor, the newspaper for which Jill Carroll had been freelancing before she was kidnapped.
Next, she called her parents.
“I love you,” she told her mother, according to the Monitor, “and every day single day I was in captivity I cried over how worried you must be. … And what a burden this must be for the family.”
“Jill called me directly. It was quite a wake-up call, to say the least,” her father, Jim Carroll, said. “She’s apparently in good health and mentally strong.”
“We just couldn’t be more pleased and more grateful for this good news for Jill and her family,” said Richard Bergenheim, the Monitor’s editor.
Carroll was dropped off Thursday near an office of the Iraqi Islamic Party, the country’s main Sunni political organization, in western Baghdad. Her feelings of joy and relief are only stage one of the long recovery process former hostages face, according to experts on kidnapping.

I Know HTML
Or in other words:
Another superior choice in clothing if you ask me, actaully, a great choice even if you’re not of geek nature. I figure someone who knows nothing of H.T.M.L. would just figure you have on a shirt with a sweet saying. This may require a trip to cafe-press.
I love this comment btw,

Family Guy Recap
So anyone who saw Family Guy episode I Take Thee Quagmire know how awesome the show was, and anyone whos had a psycho ex-girlfriend in their past *cough* can relate, heh. But apparently so do the writers & publishers from what they said on the most recent podcast on the FoxCast feed. They talked about the show with a DVD Commentary-style feel, although getting a bit off track, it was still good. I do have to say I’m a bit dissapointed Foxcast isn’t more popular and that they don’t post as often anymore. Although it was interesting to hear that they use Final Cut to stitch FG together.
Anyhow, I keep telling everyone at work about this episode, how they were getting stewie off the boob which I thought was a brilliant idea for an episode. I just wish I could dub episodes off my Moxi already, hell, it works for TiVO.. take some notes already.
Oh yea, I got a shiny new FG poster hangin up at my pad. Come over and visit already.
