Sweedish Bridge, ya?

The bridge (or should it be called tunnel) goes under water to allow movement of ships. In order for ships to pass, this bridge is half under the water. You drive down in the water and then come out on the other side. Truly a marvelous piece of engineering! This bridge is between Sweden and Denmark . Picture taken from the side of Sweden

Does anyone know the name of this bridge? It’s so cool…. From an engineering stand point anyways….
This is the field I am studying….
This is not really a bridge between Sweden and Denmark. It is actually the Monitor Merrimack Memorial Bridge in the State of Virginia, USA. If anyone is interested, I will post a couple of websites in another post. Also, there is a Tunnel / Bridge in Sweden / Denmark called the Oresund Bridge. However, this photo is not of that particular bridge….
Ha, I stand corrected. Looks like that was one more email that wasn’t close to right. Thanks for the info Nissa, sure I’d like to check those links out if you can post em.
When I saw that bridge I knew I had to post the shot, I think it’s incredible, I love stuff like this. Thanks for doin the lookup on it
The CBBT in Virginia has a website at www dot cbbt.com. Haven’t crossed it, but we crossed the Øresund from Malmö to Copenhagen last October (at night). The Øresund website is www dot oresundsbron.se where there’s a link to some bridge photos at bridgephoto.dk. Good aerial view: bridgephoto.dk/images/previews/2002112106prv.jpg
