New toy Saturday
Yea I finally gave in and bought a damned iPod Photo.. but i do have to say this thing is pretty sweet. Got her home and plugged it in. Threw a couple my my LP’s on there and learned how the sync photos process work, and it really works well, im inpressed. It’s the perfect toy for taking my photography portfolio around with me, pics from events that i’m too lazy to give to friends, and family stuff so i can just plug into a TV and start a slideshow.
I wasn’t the only one that got a new toy tho, brian picked up a shiny new PSP yesterday! We got one from a client at work, but I got the chance to play with it a little deeper last night and I love it even more. He got some of his videos converted and compressed on to it and it play’s em nicer then a rich whiteguy at a bridal shower in Orange County.

And I’m Back.
Heh, yea sadily I’m settling with this title since I didn’t have my morning coffee yet. But Im back from a well needed vacation. Looks like I missed a lot while I was gone. Things got insane at work, we’re in the middle of production on our client Financially Intelligent Parent, that is soon to launch next month but the proto is looking sweet. Brian got his new diggs at work.. now at Y&R. Damn nice man. Oh and Jordan had his birthday party last friday, sad to say I couldn’t be there but hope you won some cash at poker night.
Working on the redesign for this site, finally decided on a direction and look. Also working on the code to power my photo-portfolio. I was wanting to do it in flash for a while but I just dont have the time to get it done right, so I think that’ll have to be the next version.

Hah, not a bad site for building virtually everything in a 48hr period I have to say. ..This was Travis’ brain child and it turned into a lot of fun. I’m going to be working more on it when i get back on the 24th.
Until then God Speed and all that good stuff, I’m out.

Steve Jobs the iCON
Lightning never strikes twice, but Steve Jobs has, transforming modern culture first with the Macintosh and more recently with the iPod. He has dazzled and delighted audiences with his Pixar movies. And he has bedeviled, destroyed, and demoralized hundreds of people along the way. Steve Jobs is the most interesting character of the digital age.
In this encore to his classic 1987 unauthorized biography of Steve Jobs-a major bestseller- Jeffrey Young examines Jobs’ remarkable resurgence, one of the most amazing business comeback stories in recent years. Drawing on a wide range of sources in Silicon Valley and Hollywood, he details how Jobs put Apple back on track, first with the iMac and then with the iPod, and traces Jobs’ role in the remarkable rise of the Pixar animation studio, including his rancorous feud with Disney’s Michael Eisner.
– I’m not a reader, and if you know me, you know it. But hell I picked up Bill Gate’s book, I think this would be a good read.
