Post Christmas Storm Watch

Doppler LAWoo, what a holiday weekend. Good food, good family, drunken frien… err, good friends.. The way times with your loved ones should be :) Got lot’sa goodies and stuff for the new house. I love the cup set, cookware and def. the George Forman Rotissarie was a nice touch!

Christmas time was fun, drove to Palmdale to meet up the fam, nothing like a brisk 200 mile drive on a cold pre-stormy cali night into the high-desert to eat some turkey and hang with the fam. Sunday was relaxing, cleaned up ’round here a bit and caught up with some work finally. This week we have this huge storm movin’ through. I know it’s nothing compared to half the country or at least the mid-west where travis is this week, but still, for our under-saturated and malurished, begging for another El Nino Cali we need this.

All we have to do is wait 2 weeks after the rain so all the crap floats out to sea and we dont get infected with stomache viruses again from the LA polution. *cough* not like that ever happend to me or anything.

I know it sounds kind of petty to be talking about a few inches of rain when the coast of Thiland has been wiped out by the recent Tsunami, I was talking to Jen today and she told me she was there on her honeymoon to Thiland and remembers seeing all the huts on the bay and can only imagine how terrible it must be for the people at this point. I found this site has already been set up with the facts from wikipedia to clear up the numbers and death/injured toll count. Scooble posted about Andrew Shutton’s experience first hand.. pretty intense, I’m still looking around for some first-hand pics or more stories on it.
