Mmmmm.. I’m lovin’ McDonald’s new ad Campaign idea featuring Heidi Klum. Finally the dude with the big red hair and feet is thinking. I was never really too impressed with the whole “I’m lovin’ It” deal. Maybe it’s just me but it alwasy seemed so cheezy. *cough* no pun intended on that. heh

On another note, what the hell is up with my work this week. Not my firm work but my damn work. Did all my clients decide it would be a great idea to call me today with issues? Holy crap. I woke up today thinking I’d have all this extra time to work on the server at work since we’re re-organigzing our production model to get things locked down for when go-time hits pretty soon now, and by lunch I already had 3 voicemails, and my cell and email wouldn’t shut up. It’s 1:15am, and i was planing on going to bed at 11 tonight.. shit so much for a relazing week. Oh and did I mention, two of my clients are tryin to stiff me money. Im so over this crap, but it’s the damn principal you know? WHy the hell do people have to be such assholes. You recieve a service, the person that provides it to you give you over 4 months to pay without even sweating it, and now you dont want to return calls, emails and give me shit about it. *grrrr I swear I’m about to call Cousin Ivan and Fat Vinney to go “collect” one of these days.

on a brighter note.. got my new issue of jane today and theres a HOT photoshoot of Lindsay Lohan. Good Lord do I need to get more into photography and quick. Or maybe I just need a girlfriend.. ehh, both couldn’t hurt but I’d settle for either one right about now

Earlier this week I was at work and Jen got a call from a good friend of hers. Jen ran out the door frantically, and came back later to tell us that one of her girlfriend’s husband’s had just came down with a terrible case of cancer. And even worse, brain cancer. Things don’t look all that good for this young man, he’s been diagnosed with only a few months left to live, we couldn’t believe it, and it really seemed to hit jen and jay; I completley feel for them.

If any of you know the story of my dad, the walking miracle, you know just how I must have been feeling at the time. For those of you that don’t know, I’d be glad to tell you over drinks one night.. not because that makes it easier, but because it’s something I can’t even get into without sheading a tear. The fact my dad is still with me today is nothing short of a miracle, and I really do thank my God for that more than anything. In fact December 20th will be my Dad’s 20 year anniversary in remission from cancer. Personally I couldn’t imagine my life with out my dad, i was 1 year old when he was diagnosed with it, and to think of how different of a person I’d be without him in my life just makes me shivver. This man is 32 and has a 5month old. I just can’t explain how much it hurts me and I don’t even know the guy.

But, over the course of the past few day’s I was more than happy to donate my time working with Jen and Jay to create a site for their family and the cause. I don’t think i’ve ever pumped out a website as quick and dilligently as this. I even built it around a blog script so the family can log in and post news, articles and upload photos. Yea, it feel’s nice to do things like this once in a while. Makes you realize that we’re not around forever, and while we are, we need to be thankful and fortunate for the fact we are.
