Seattle Post-Intelligencer threw up a really detailed PDF this moring detailing the cost of war. Kind of amazing to see charts that back up the numbers you keep hearing. Especially when you realize the US has contributed 1200% more then the next largest country..

So if you havn’t heard yet, this is pretty shady and its amazing that with all the terrible exposure this is giving him, it still has not been reconciled. If you live outside the US, you *may* (/will) have problems accessing georgewbush.com For some time now, apparently they decided over in bush-land it would be best to limit traffic to US IP ranges only. Yet as smart as that may seem you can still use the direct IP or https *haha, kudos to the tech savvy admins over there in DC* maybe they should look into hosting with kerry’s rackspace, dosen’t seem like hes having that problem *smirk*

Apple Has really done it this time. In celebration of iTunes 4.7 release, they now have the new iPod Photo which does everything from slideshows to cinema display sync and now my new favorite, the color mp3 artwork display. *mmmm* If you know me, or even read a third of the way down the page you know my newest geek obsession is to collect the artwork for all my albums and singles over the years. I would say a good 98% of my collection has full artwork now, so i think it’s finally time to buy a damned iPod. These bastards keep putting toys out i cant live with out. The way I see it tho is now i have a mobile photography portfolio. Since it’s got the integrated slideshow and albums, i can take my work with me on the road and plug in to a tv or projector if needed. this will work out great for everything from hangin with friends, to client meetings where we need to present comps and diagrams. *ahhh apple* what will you do next?

Saturday

• 9:00 am: Wake up, get dressed, go to bank, get hair cut
• 11:14 am: Brian and Jordan get to the house, we load up and hit the road
• 11:32 am: I forget my jacket, turn around, leave again
• 12:20pm: Stop at Carl’s Jr. for lunch, wait 10 minutes for Kacthup, give up and go commando on the fries until the chick brings some.
• 2:45pm: Arrive at Vegas making damn good time
• 3:28pm: Finish cruising the strip, get ahold of Anthony and meet up at Harrah’s
• 4:12pm: Walk out to gamble at Harrah’s, take pictures, cruise downtown at night
• 5:50pm: More Gambling, walk to The Venitian, score a $50 spot on Wheel of Fortune slots, get food, more pictures, check out the art galleries and beautiful murals on the ceiling, miss Europe
• 7:23pm: More Gambling @ Paris, Blackjack and Pai Gow
• 9:50pm: Mark calls, hes checking into our 2-story town house
• 9:51pm: Start walking back to Harrah’s from Paris and head to the Mariott
• 11:21pm: Meet Mark at the Mariott, check out the place, insaaaaaaane
• 11:42pm: Run to the local Mini-mart to grab fillers for the Home-Bar mark brought

Sunday

• 12:28am: Mix Midori + Hypnotic and make a new drink we called Hypdori, *chuckle*
• 12:49am: Head out to the Gentlmens Club
• 12:54am: … *heh*
• 3:42am: Roll out, pick up a few more friends, head to Excalibur
• 4:09am: Brian, Me, Bobby & Mark hit up a $20 Buy-in for Texas Hold-em, Jordan hit-up Roulette
• 7:02am: Head back to the hotel for some free breakfast, squint at the sun when we step outside cursing the light
• 7:24am: Mmmmmm fooood.
• 8:12am: Sleep for a few hrs.
• 12:00pm: Wake up, clean up and late checkout
• 1:14pm: Head back to the strip, crusise for a while
• 1:42pm: Park at Rio
• 1:57pm: Gamble & scope out the place
• 2:34pm: Brain and Bobby do it large on Pai Gow
• 3:11pm: Me and Brian Throw $30 on red, it hits black
• 3:12pm: Me and Brian Throw $40 on red, it hits black
• 3:14pm: Me, Brian, Jordan and Bobby throw $80 on Red, it hits Double-Zero
• 3:16pm: We stop screaming
• 3:17pm: Leave Rio, go to Del Taco for $0.39 tacos
• 3:54pm: Pick up Wendy @ Joe’s pad
• 4:02pm: Leave for LA
• 6:39pm: Throw some gas in at barstow, get coffee
• 7:12pm: sit in an hour and a half of damn traffic coming down cajon pass, take pictures
• 9:14pm: Get home, clean out the rental, take a shower and crash

So it’s 1:20am and I just got home in the new Explorer XLT I rented for the weekend. Tomorrow we roll to sin city and we’re off for a weekend of havin a dammmmn good time. Was in Long Beach chillin with Jen, Jay & Greg at a little belated but fun party at the Dysart estates.. much much fun, great food and awesome wine. I do have to say tho being 23 it’s hard playing the “Celebrity” game when the subject topic is 60’s - 70’s. I did get Sandy Cofax and JFK which was impressive. But how the hell do you describe bob dylan in 30 seconds on call, that time goes a lot faster then you think?? *chuckkle* Hah I am proud to say one dude Craig, Jay’s friend wrote in Richard Avedon (photographer great) and i knew who it was but couldn’t say anything. Goes to show studying the classics pays off when you least expect it.

After that Greg + Miranda led and I followed down to Travis’ place for her pre-holloween boo-ya. Haha, you know how freaking hard it is to find some damn parking in Long Beach when your in a stretch explorer?? Anywasy get this, so i park at 3rd & cherry after getting seperated from greg and miranda because i dont know where travis lives and didnt write down her address. So I decide to take a walk and try to find it. About 20 minutes later and a mile in I realize i dont know where the hell I am, and sofar I’m pretty fearfull for my white-ass walking the streets. Finally caught Greg online and he shot me the address. so I double back and realize that I convinenently parked one and a half blocks away from her house but walked the wrong direction. Fun.

Haha and to top it off, I get home, tired and ready to get to bed and my block is packed with cars. I dont really want to leave the rental on the street so i figure i’ll parallel it in front of my driveway. Haha to my supprise, in my rear view I see a couple gettin freaky in the car behind me. After I stopped laughing i just sed fuck it and I’ll move it in the morning. Can’t hate on that ya know? Hell, they’re gettin more action then i’ve seen in a while.

Throwin a shirt, socks and some cologne in a bag and I’m off with the homies mananna.. wish me luck on the tables.
